Here are a few snapshots of Carl and others in creek monitoring with the Bear Creek Watershed Group. The mission of the Bear Creek Watershed Group (BCWG) is to gather and integrate existing information on the physical, cultural, and demographic variables, which characterize the Bear Creek watershed at present and in the past.
The goals of the Bear Creek Watershed Group are to inform interested individuals about the human, aquatic, riparian and terrestrial features of the entire ecosystem, and to assist in identifying areas in which additional data and information are needed.

This site required a rigorous hike. It was always a pleasure to reach the bottom of the canyon and see what Bear Creek was doing.
